Advanced Practice Urogynaecology Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Amy is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with post graduate qualifications in Pelvic Floor and Continence Rehabilitation from the University of Melbourne. She has specialised and worked exclusively in the area of Women’s Health and Continence for over 30 years. She is committed to providing patient centred, individualised care and working with each patient to achieve their goals. Amy can work with your other health care providers as part of your health team.

Amy has been involved in research investigating transcutaneous tibial and sacral nerve stimulation for treatment of overactive bladder symptoms. She uses this treatment with appropriate patients in her clinic.

Amy is a tutor on the Masters of Pelvic Health, and the Post Graduate Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation courses at The University of Melbourne.

Amy has worked in public women’s hospitals and continence clinics, and in private practice at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. As well as treating pelvic floor dysfunction, Amy is part of the Vulval Clinic at Jean Hailes. She previously worked for 17 years at The Mercy Hospital for Women where she was a Senior Women’s Health Clinician and Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in the Urogynaecology Unit. She has had extensive obstetric experience at several major tertiary maternity hospitals in Melbourne.

Amy has 3 beautiful sons and husband, and enjoys spending every moment she can with them and her extended family and friends. She loves cooking, gardening, running and drinking her husband’s specially made coffee!
